Waltron was founded in 1903 as an analytical and consulting laboratory in Manhattan New York City.  During that time many steam ships were called into port.  It was a perfect place for the company to start working on its modern boiler water treatment program.  Before long, Waltron had nearly half of the US Merchant Fleet under service contract.

For over 100 years Waltron has specialized in the water chemistry and water purifying industry.  They are the world leader in boiler water chemistry and have advanced the drinking water industry tremendously with their water chlorination and desalination plant technologies.  Waltron is the industry leader in steam quality monitoring systems for the pulp and paper, power generation, waste water, petrochemical, semiconductor and environmental industries.  These analyzer products include:
